Cable organisms are intelligent, conscious life systems constructed entirely from cables, tubes and mechanical components at Cable Beach. They contain no organic biological material.[1]
Maintenance and behavior
Parasitic nanophages embedded throughout their structures provide movement, coordination and repair. The organisms continuously consume a viscous green maintenance fluid.
Some organisms conduct experiments on Dr. Cable. Others emit harmonically related tones, with several developing physical configurations resembling musical instruments. Their collective long-term objective has not been established.
