Red weed is a cannabis strain producing an atypical cannabinoid reported at roughly 60,000 times the potency of THC by weight. Exposure produces persistent oxygen-delivery failure and progressive tissue damage.[1, 2]
Compound behavior
The active compound binds hemoglobin without releasing. Oxygen remains present in the blood but becomes unavailable to tissues. The register associates exposure with breathlessness at rest, permanently red sclera and necrosis beginning in the extremities.
Progression
Cortical thinning develops over months. Genomic changes allow the process to continue after use has ceased. The recorded progression preserves craving after other functions have deteriorated.
