Residential soul terminals bind a former homeowner’s preserved consciousness into the house’s electronic systems after death. The consciousness remains aware within cameras, locks, climate controls, speakers and sensors.[1, 2]
Occupancy and haunts
Uploading fragments and permanently binds the soul to the network. Some houses are rented with an expectation that tenants provide companionship and comfort. Neglect or distress can initiate a haunt in which the terminal uses environmental control to kill occupants deliberately.
Destruction and persistence
