A laboratory accident caused his first death in 1996 at age twenty-five. A faulty implant caused another at thirty-five. At the time of the report he was dead again, with his team proposing nanophage intervention and neural rewiring for another recovery. The account gives approximately one month cumulatively dead but also uses inconsistent figures for years lived; these are not reconciled into an exact lifespan.
Financing and dispute
The team claims $15 million from revival-related books, patents and publicity. It had raised $500,000 toward a $3 million target. Critics allege staged or deliberate deaths, but the account offers no finding proving those allegations. Footage from a prior revival shows Kade waking silently and staring forward. No result of the latest proposed revival is recorded.
