Sleeper faces are microscopic, living intelligent entities found inside meteorite matrices. Individual faces are smaller than a human hair’s width and are original to the surrounding rock.[1, 2]
Morphology and detection
The structures have bilateral symmetry, brow ridges, orbital sockets, paired nostrils and a small mouth. They resolve only within a narrow magnification band.
Some specimens are fossilized; others remain active. Active specimens respond to illumination, and their eye states change between scanning sessions.
Recovery
Material has been recovered from meteorite falls separated by decades and continents, including laboratories without contact with one another. The register identifies the entities as living intelligences and does not assign them a nanophage origin.
