Nanophage Research develops nanophage systems and maintains records of biological, mechanical and anomalous phenomena. Its work encompasses regenerative treatment, neural interfaces, artificial organisms and the preservation of consciousness.[1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12]
Activities
The institution both investigates abnormal phenomena and produces technologies responsible for some of them. Its clinical and specimen work includes tissue maintenance, augmentation and long-term biological replacement. The imaging division retains material from recoveries and investigations.
Not all phenomena in the register originate with nanophage technology. The absorbing wall, sleeper faces and recovered craft are recorded without a nanophage cause.
Institutional history
The Nanolink 2000 history names Dr. Helena Vance as founder and gives 1985 as the founding year. The Biolab terminal instead carries an establishment date of 1987. Both dates survive in institutional material; their relationship has not been resolved.
Facilities and records
Laboratory 1 operated in Alaska before a catastrophic containment failure. Cable Beach, operated by Dr. Cable, supports conscious non-biological systems and a telecommunications relay. The Internal Archive preserves numbered recordings of institutional operations.
Divisions, products and civic reach
Office Division C coordinates augmented employees through a telepathic network. Other documented activities include the Slop Shop food partnership, industrial energy recovery, online communication software and broadcast services. The institution is also named as the originating recommender of the twenty-seven-day calendar.
